My "summer" lambing has begun. I had 4 yearlings who did not have any udders when everyone else was lambing and I had left Craigrothie in until January soo I can have June lambs. One more is defiantly bred, but I can't tell with the others as I have not cought them and I can't see under there.
Edit:

I added a picture of him to this post.
ReplyDeleteSure you can use his picture. Do you also want a picture of his yearling son who has 2-3in bone knobs?
ReplyDeleteThose are aberrant horns?
ReplyDeleteWhat color is Eastwind registered as? I love how grey she is!
Eastwind is an emsket yuglet, socket or HST. I think her lamb will be Sheala or Emsket. (Craigrothie's dam was Sheala.)
ReplyDeleteCraigrothie has abberent horns and has thrown 3 polled ram lambs out of 2 different ewes. (He has aslo thrown many long scured ram lambs.) Craigrothie got his poll gene from Holy Hills Onyx his dam.
