The Lord's my shepherd I'll not want.He makes me down to lie in pastures green : he leadeth me the quite waters by. My soul he doth restore again; and me to walk doth make within the paths of righteousness, even for his own names sake...
Paul and Carol's Coopworth sheep going home to be shorn and then have their lambs after spending a winter on pasture (eating hay.) The line of sheep was about 3/4 mile long. They follow the tractor as it means food to them.
Too cool! When we were young the sheep herds that lived in the mountains all summer would come down and cross the roads as the cars all waited for them to cross. How I miss the good ol' days.
Well, our road is busier than Paul and Carol's, so we can't try that! And I think I would have been a nervous wreck, herding them down the road AND around a corner!
VERY cool!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty amazing! I couldn't get away with that on our highway, we'd have sheep pancakes everywhere.
